Social Care
Activities
The home provides extensive
and appropriate support with training in cooking,,
self-help skills, independence and domestic skills,
as well as with seeking employment opportunities.
We pride ourselves on a varied programme of activities
such as swimming, cinema, bowling, indoor activities,
outings, visits to the pub, shopping and church
going. We are also pleased to arrange for day care
activities to meet the residents’ individual
needs which can include therapeutic activities such
as arts, music, cooking, playing pool and other
regular outings.
Our staff actively support and
encourage residents to develop and maintain good
contacts within the local community, as well as
maintaining contacts with their families and friends.
Service users may also access
to mainstream IT training and basic training in
Numeracy & Literacy in our Training School,
DFES approved. |
