Management
The Registered Home Manager is Mr
Nelson Awunu, NVQ4 & Mental Health management needs.
The Manager bears overall responsibility
for the effective running of the Care Home. However,
the Home is also supported by Dr Madhewoo Owner
of Unicorn Projects who has had over 25 yrs of experience
in Care.
The Home and Clients finances are
closely monitored by our admin dept especially by
Mrs Anna Bissonauth
(ex-Banker).
Staff and Training
The home is staffed day and night
providing twenty-four hour care. All care staff
are rigorously vetted and highly trained with on-going
and individual training programmes. All staff attend
Induction training and receive training in Non Violent
Crisis Intervention, food hygiene, fire safety,
moving & handling, medication, first aid, Health
and Safety, Adult protection, NVQ level 2 or 3 in
care and so on. We are committed to achieving a
cohesive workforce through team building and on-going
individual training needs analysis (which includes
identifying and meeting training needs) and by appropriate
levels of supervision and on-going staff appraisal.
Unicorn Projects offers training for residents in
Central Croydon Workshop & Staff trained at
Unicorn Training Institute “C&C, Edexcel,
BILD” & DFES approved
